We have been repeatedly asked if we make recipe boxes. Now, we are proud to introduce our first recipe box. Designed to hold 3" by 5" index cards, this box is a handsome additon to any kitchen.   Our recipe box is a size in which we have a large selection of top woods for you to choose from other than those listed in the customization box.   If this is something that you are interested in; simply call us or send us an email. The #0 Shaker Kitchen Salt Box was the second kitchen accessory that we were ever asked to create.   And it has proved to be a popular item.   Again, we have a large selectin of top woods that are not listed online. Our #1 Shaker Kitchen Twine Box was first requested by a chef in Abingdon, Virginia.   And while not everyone is a chef by profession, they are also handy when you need that length of twine for any number of reasons. The newest creation in our kitchen accessory catagory are our Shaker Kitchen Wine Caddies.   And they have quickly proved to be our most popular item in this catagory.   Our #3 Shaker Low Kitchen Wine Caddy is also the right size for holding Oil and Vinegar bottles; and is really the reason we designed this caddy with a lower band height.   The size #3 wine caddy will hold most 750 ml wine bottles; while our #4 will hold magnum sized bottles Our Shaker reproduction and Shaker inspired products are made in the traditional manner.   Each item is individually crafted and no two are ever exactly alike.   The swallowtails are held together with copper tacks made on a machine that was making tacks over 100 years ago.   Our finishing process is described in our article Shaker Wood Finishes .   But before you purchase, please read our Philosophy on Milk Painting and check out our Milk Paint Colors .
