Shaker Swing Handle Carriers 
Our Shaker Swing Handle Carriers can be used with or without the lids and optional inserts can be purchased for most carrier sizes. Our largest sizes are generally used by seamstresses and knitters to hold yarn and cloth; while the round carriers are tradionally used for flower arrangements. We have even heard reports of some boxes being lined with cloth and used as purses. Whatever your use from decorative to functional you will admire the beauty of your carrier. Our Shaker reproduction and Shaker inspired products are made in the traditional manner. Each item is individually crafted and no two are ever exactly alike. The swallowtails are held together with copper tacks made on a machine that was making tacks over 100 years ago. Our finishing process is described in our article Shaker Wood Finishes .
